President & CEO
Mr. Hodge is responsible for managing strategic alliances and implementation of the company's product development, business and marketing plans.

Barry brings over 20 years of key industry experience to SecurLinx. Past roles have included serving as Acsys Biometrics' President; Graphco Technologies' Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing; General Manager of the Secure Data Facility in Tampa, FL.; and over 20 years of sales and marketing experience as National Sales Manager with Hewlett Packard.

His mechanical and electrical engineering background, as well as his experience managing information systems, testing and measurement equipment, and medical instrumentation, gives him comprehensive industry knowledge.

Barry earned his BS degree from Bowling Green University and his Master of Arts degree in Business from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

+ Steven Rehfeldt - Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Rehfeldt is responsible for software development, management and integration of all SecurLinx client applications and partnerships.

He comes to SecurLinx as a result of the acquisition of Rehfeldt Technologies where he invented the patent pending framework that allows innovators, clients and integrators to credibly model and deploy facial recognition systems. The system enables repeatable, objective testing to create a mathematical profile of operational boundaries and on-site environmental fitness for facial recognition systems.

Mr. Rehfeldt served as Project Manager with Graphco Technologies, Inc. for the large venue facial recognition deployments at both Super Bowl XXXV and the 2002 Winter Olympic games as well as physical access control and surveillance systems in secure facilities.

Prior to working for Graphco, he worked with GTE Law Enforcement Services where he applied biometric technologies and developed enterprise architecture borne out of eight year’s of software engineering experience performing end-to-end telecom network management systems architecture, development, and field work.

Rehfeldt has assisted in Department of Defense studies of both virtual reality and simulation research at the Institute for Simulation and Training in Orlando, Florida.

His depth of knowledge in the biometrics field resulted in his appointment to the University of Nevada, Reno Computer Science Department’s Vision Laboratory Advisory Board.

A veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a crypto-linguist for the Korean language, Mr. Rehfeldt holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering (BSCpe) from the University of Central Florida.

+ Nick Abaid - Executive VP. Business Development

Mr. Abaid is responsible for business development and field operations with a primary focus on security applications for government and industrial segments.

With 27 years of law enforcement experience, his knowledge of security matters is extensive. His past involvement in International Terrorism and Foreign Counterintelligence investigations makes him a recognized industry expert.

He has worked closely with US Intelligence, US Counterintelligence, Foreign Intelligence and Law Enforcement organizations and has served as SecurLinx’ Director of Business Development for Security Solutions since our founding in 2003.

Nick has lectured extensively on the security requirements and needs of private industry and government agencies that are involved in sensitive and classified Research and Development.

+ Jim Connors - Regional Vice President

Jim Connors
Regional Vice President

Mr. Connors oversees business development and field operations in the Western Region, with a primary focus on security applications for government and law enforcement.

Jim is a retired Chief of Police from Anaconda, Montana with more than thirty years experience in law enforcement. He remains very active in computer forensics with law enforcement associations and is a member of the Nevada Attorney General High-Tech Task Force. Jim has a diverse background that includes five years of providing Biometric and Information Sharing Solutions to Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies; Regional Biometrics Sales Manager for GTE Law Enforcement Division; Project Manager for Graphco Technologies and Biometrics Consultant for Viisage Technologies and Acsys Biometrics Inc. He has also assisted in the development of secure database and communication system solutions that feature advanced facial recognition and other biometric integrated solutions.

He is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy (Quantico, Va.), National Sheriffs’ Institute (Washington D.C.), and the Federal Law Enforcement Academy (Glynco, Ga.). He earned two degrees from the University of Montana, completing a B.A. in Sociology/Criminology and an A.A. in Computer Science.
