Steven
Rehfeldt
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Rehfeldt is responsible for software development, management
and integration of all SecurLinx client applications and partnerships.
He comes to SecurLinx as a result of the acquisition of Rehfeldt
Technologies where he invented the patent pending framework that
allows innovators, clients and integrators to credibly model and
deploy facial recognition systems. The system enables repeatable,
objective testing to create a mathematical profile of operational
boundaries and on-site environmental fitness for facial recognition
systems.
Mr. Rehfeldt served as Project Manager with Graphco Technologies,
Inc. for the large venue facial recognition deployments at both
Super Bowl XXXV and the 2002 Winter Olympic games as well as physical
access control and surveillance systems in secure facilities.
Prior to working for Graphco, he worked
with GTE Law Enforcement Services where he applied biometric technologies
and developed enterprise architecture borne out of eight year’s
of software engineering experience performing end-to-end telecom
network management systems architecture, development, and field
work.
Rehfeldt has assisted in Department of Defense studies of both
virtual reality and simulation research at the Institute for Simulation
and Training in Orlando, Florida.
His depth of knowledge in the biometrics
field resulted in his appointment to the University of Nevada,
Reno Computer Science Department’s
Vision Laboratory Advisory Board.
A veteran of the United States Air Force
where he served as a crypto-linguist for the Korean language,
Mr. Rehfeldt holds a bachelor’s degree
in computer engineering (BSCpe) from the University of Central Florida.
